Celebrate Memorial Day at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) as it hosts a special Memorial Day festivity on the terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay on May 30, 2016. The museum will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. You can enjoy live music and buy barbecue and drinks specials from Verde from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The energetic daytime affair will start PAMM’s involvement in Blue Star Museums which is a national project that honors service men and women with free museum admission for all active duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel and their families from Memorial Day until Labor Day.
This celebration is open for everyone and the rates for museum admission apply. For adult the ticket is $16; youth, seniors and students tickets will be for $12. The ticket does not include food or drink. Inside the iconic museum, you can also explore exhibitions by Doris Salcedo, Michele Oka Doner, Matthew Ronay and more.
Admission for this event is free for Metromover riders, active duty military personnel, veterans and their family members. PAMM members can also come in free of charge and just need to present their membership cards for a fast entry to the event. The Pérez Art Museum Miami is located at 1103 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, Florida. This is directly adjacent to the Miami-Dade Metromover, Museum Park station.
